Yes. Every MALOA product is formulated specifically for developing skin and is safe to use daily for ages 9–13. We avoid all harsh actives (including retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs) that aren't appropriate for young skin.
Most kids’ skincare is either baby-focused or repurposed adult formulas. MALOA is built intentionally for tweens — formulas, marketing, and message. We’re the quiet push toward more time outside, with friends, off the phone, off the filters, in real life.
Not the way the industry would have you believe. But gentle cleansing and basic hydration can support skin as it begins to change during early puberty. We keep it minimal on purpose.

Yes of course! While our products are formulated with younger, more sensitive skin in mind, it just means that they have gentle, clean ingredients with nothing unnecessary. A lot of adults love that too (including those on our team)!
No. Full stop. Retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating acids are adult ingredients designed for adult skin. They can disrupt the skin barrier, cause irritation, and do real damage to skin that's still developing.
A gentle cleanser morning and night and a lightweight moisturizer to cleanse and hydrate, as well as a nourishing lip balm (because the skin on our lips deserves love too!). And optional (but also incredibly beneficial) is a face mist that doubles as your on the go refresh. That's genuinely it for ages 9-13.
