Three young people skateboarding at a park on a sunny day.

today was a good day

we believe a good day isn’t measured in mirrors or metrics. it’s measured in fresh air, scraped knees, sweaty hair and the kind of laughter that comes from being fully present.

hi! I'm Lauren

hi! I'm Lauren

I'm a mom of two living in Southern California, and I've spent nearly two decades in health, wellness, and natural skincare.

I watched as the industry took adult products, adult actives, and the adult marketing playbook, and pointed all of it at nine-year-olds.

Growing up, I destroyed my skin with apricot scrub. Nobody taught me the importance of self care, and I paid for it later. I wanted something different for my daughter: the idea that taking care of yourself is a good thing, and that it has nothing to do with fixing yourself.

So I built what I wanted to be able to hand her.

our core values

kid first

We're here for the whole kid, not just her skin. Not quite a teen, not quite a kid: these are the years when skin is starting to need care and confidence is starting to need protecting.

safe is our baseline

Two things, neither are optional. What's in the bottle: gentle, researched, right for young skin. And what comes out of our mouths: messaging as clean as the formula.

on your side

These are the same years the parent-kid bond gets tested. Most of the industry wedges itself into that gap. We want to help foster that relationship, not get between it.

touch grass

A good day happens outside. Fresh air, movement, laughter, the people you love. That does as much for a kid as anything in a bottle, and we'll always point her toward it.

you've got enough to figure out. this isn't one of them.

MALOA means today was a good day

MALOA means today was a good day

It's a word we created to hold a feeling. The one you get after a day outside, spent with people you love.

For her, a good day looks like dirt on her knees, sunkissed cheeks, and sweaty hair.

For you, a good day is quieter. It's her coming home for movie night, or hearing her laugh from the other room. It's being the one she comes to with questions instead of the internet.

We can't put that in a bottle, and we're not going to pretend we can. But we know which days matter, and we won't make anything that gets in your way.
